Dael Poulter is a filmmaker whose work spans documentary and commercial film across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas. He is drawn to subjects that exist at the edges of power — athletes, artists, institutions — and to the private logic that holds people together or pulls them apart.
His debut feature The Protagonist was selected for distribution by Dogwoof and executive produced by André Singer and Richard Melman.
